HOW TO SWITCH WINDOWS POWER PROFILE IN A DOUBLE-CLICK

This article will be helpful for those of you who is using laptop as primary workstation.

First, you must configure your power profiles in Windows control panel. They can be found in Power Options. In my workflow i am using two power profiles: High performance and Power saver. Of course you can switch power profiles using standard Windows GUI, but it is a pain in the ass. Especially if you count your mouse clicks. I prefer not to do more than two clicks.

Just create two batch files with following commands and place them on your desktop.

For HIGH PERFORMANCE MODE:
DOWNLOAD BAT-FILE
C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -setactive 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c

For POWER SAVER MODE:
DOWNLOAD BAT-FILE
C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -setactive a1841308-3541-4fab-bc81-f71556f20b4a

Hope this fixed you up!
